The Ringwood Education Foundation was established in 2014 and awarded its first scholarship in April 2015.  There are currently five funds that provide scholarships to graduating seniors to assist in pursuing further education or skill training toward a career goal. The funds provide support to recipients for trade, technical or post-secondary programs or schools.

The five funds are:  Ringwood Scholarship Endowment, Danny L. and Margaret Ann (Doll) Smith Memorial Scholarship, Dr. Kenton and Eula Mae (Oakley) Ross Scholarship, Jack and Betty (Ratzlaff) Mason (Class of 1943) Memorial Scholarship, and the Lloydene Nance Memorial Scholarship.  The five funds total $600,000.  To date, scholarships have been awarded to 37 students, totaling $50,950.

Donations to the Foundation are distributed under the public charity umbrella of the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO).  Donations are invested in a balanced pool with some matching funds from CFO. These invested funds provide dividends and growth for the purpose of providing the above-mentioned scholarships while the donated funds remain invested. Donors select which scholarship they wish to support and may contribute funds in honor of a particular person, family or event.

Remember the Ringwood Education Foundation when planning wills, trusts, insurance beneficiaries, IRA required minimum distribution or when selecting memorial funds. We value each and every donation. It is the cumulative effect of many donations over time that will enable us to impact the future of Ringwood students.
